We're asking students to answer one simple question through their artwork:
"What is the most beautiful place on the Sunshine Coast?"
Whether it's a favourite beach, park, rainforest, mountain, river, playground or another special place, we'd love to see the Sunshine Coast through the eyes of our young artists.
The competition aims to encourage children to appreciate and care for our local environment while celebrating the places that make our community so special.
Competition Details
The winning student will receive a special prize, and their artwork will be featured across Ted O'Brien MP's social media channels during Keep Australia Beautiful Week.
Download, print and return artwork to ted.obrien.mp@aph.gov.au before Thursday 30th of July.

Small business is the lifeblood of the Sunshine Coast, supporting jobs, community sport and local livelihoods. But right now, the system is stacked against them, with rising closures and growing red tape making it harder to compete. We are pushing for a fair go through a new Small Business Act that backs local operators, cuts complexity and ensures small businesses can grow, succeed and keep our community strong.

Volunteers are the backbone of our community. We want to recognise our local volunteers at the 2026 Fairfax Volunteer Awards. I understand that a volunteer can be of any age and the categories below are open to anyone you, or your organisation, believe should be honoured for their service and contribution.
