Expressions of Interest are now open for the 2021 Volunteer Grants.
The Grants aim to support the efforts of our amazing local volunteers by providing small amounts of money that Not-For-Profit organisations and community groups can use to help their volunteers. The grants form part of the Government’s work to support volunteers, as well as to encourage and increase participation in volunteering.
Grants of between $1,000 and $5,000 are available to help community organisations buy equipment for use by volunteers such as laptops, help with fuel or transport costs, or assist with volunteer training costs.
The objectives of Volunteer Grants are to:
o help community organisations to support the efforts of Australia’s volunteers
o help community organisations to support the inclusion of vulnerable people through volunteering
o encourage, support and increase participation in volunteering.
Expressions of interest for organisations operating in the Fairfax Electorate close on Friday 9 April 2021 and must be completed online HERE.
