Local News

Ted O’Brien MP has called on community organisations in Fairfax to apply for grant funding to support the efforts of their volunteers.

Mr O’Brien the Federal Government was providing $20 million worth of grants valued between $1,000 and $5,000 to not-for-profit organisations.

“Volunteers are the lifeblood of our community and by continuing to help each other and work together, we are building a stronger and safer Sunshine Coast

“I encourage all not-for-profit organisations in Fairfax to apply for the Volunteer Grants round to assist our volunteers and encourage volunteering.”

The Volunteer Grants round is expected to open in August.
