- Applications for Round 4 of the Stronger Communities Programme are now open
- The program will fund local projects to build social and community connections
- The Coalition Government has committed up to $22.5 million under Round 4 of the program
Communities across Australia are set to share in $22.5 million to improve local infrastructure and provide essential community equipment with applications now open for Round 4 of the Stronger Communities Programme.
Member for Fairfax Ted O’Brien is encouraging local community groups to flag any small capital works projects which would benefit from Federal Government funding.
The Commonwealth has committed $150,000 in support of up to 20 projects across the electorate.
Eligible organisations are invited to register expressions of interest (EOI) for grants of up to $20,000 which are available through the Stronger Communities Programme Round 4.
The grants will provide up to 50% of eligible expenditure for the projects designed to deliver social benefits within their communities.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for organisations across Fairfax, I can’t wait to hear about the many worthy projects which we could support,” Ted O’Brien said.
“The first step for any interested organisations is to submit an expression of interest (EOI) to my office. Projects will be assessed and shortlisted organisations will then be invited to complete the formal application form.”
Please click here to complete the Expression of Interest Form.
EOI applications must be received by Wednesday 29 August at 5pm.
