Fairfax has never before received more Federal Government funding and support than under Ted O’Brien’s leadership, particularly under the former LNP Government – $1.79 billion for local roads and infrastructure; $3.2 billion for local sections of the Bruce Highway; $61.14 million for local Fairfax businesses; $38.6 million for local Fairfax community groups; and $3.15 billion for passenger rail.
