- Expressions of Interest for Round 6 of the Stronger Communities Programme are now open
- $150,000 will be allocated for up to 20 projects located in the Fairfax electorate
- The funding will help support greater community participation as our local economy recovers from the impacts of COVID-19
Local community groups are invited to apply for a share in $150,000 Federal Government funding to improve facilities and purchase essential equipment.
Member for Fairfax Ted O’Brien is encouraging local community groups to register their expression of interest (EOI) for Round 6 of the Stronger Communities Programme, which provides grants of up to $20,000 for small capital works projects to support our community as we recover from the impacts of COVID-19.
The grants of between $2,500 and $20,000 will provide up to 100% of project expenditure for not for profit organisations (and 50% for local governments) for projects which must be completed by 31 December 2021.
Interested organisations are invited to submit their EOI by Friday 19th February at 5pm.
Projects will be assessed by a local panel of community members and shortlisted organisations will then be invited to complete the formal application process.
